Liffey Celtic 1 - 5 Prosperous Utd
A fantastic game of football for Prosperous with all 15 players playing good football throughout the match.
The first goal came when the ball came to Ryan from the right hand side and he calmly sloted it home, More chances followed for Prosperous from Dylan, Conor and Ryan as Prosperous pushed and put pressure on Liffey Celtic in there own half.
Shortly before half time against the run of play Liffey equalised by catching Prosperous on the break and both teams went in a goal apiece at HT. From the start of the second half Prosperous continued to push and rewards soon came with 2 brilliantly taken goals from Dylan, a headed goal from Jake and a first ever goal for Alex. Well done Lads!
Both Alan and myself were very impressed with the work rate and the commitment of the team, a big thanks is due to all our parents for making sure that their child attends matches and training all through the season. Thanks. (Brendan)
