U8 Major 8 vs 3 Clane United
Prosperous played their best game of the season in very windy conditions.
They got off to a great start against the wind and opened the scoring when Brandon finished off some good play from Szymon. Clane then came straight back with two goals before Brandon got his second when he was set up by Alex.
Clane again went into the lead before our top goalscorer Gerry got his first with a great drive from just inside the box with the half ending 3-3.
The second half belonged to Prosperous who did not concede any more goals with some great defending from Ryan R and Ryan M.R. Prosperous went in front in the match with a great team goal which started from the back with Zack passing to Sean who played a through ball to Gerry and then crossed the ball for Ryan N who hit it first time just outside the box into the top corner.
Prosperous never looked back after that and scored 4 more goals with Gerry and Sean getting one and Megan getting two to end the game 8-3 .
