Nenagh vs Prosperous United,
Midlands Shield Second Leg
It was a lovely morning to travel to Tipperary for our game. We were 2-1 up from the first leg so it was always going to be a tough game in Nenagh.
In the first 5 minutess of the game we had to withstand a bit of pressure on a really bumpy pitch, but once we settled down we where never going to lose. Leading 2-1 at half-time we came out in the second half and played some really nice football, created lots of chances and had all the ball.
2 more goals in the second half made it 4-1 on the day and 6-2 on aggregate to Prosperous.
All the goals again came from good passing moves from back to front which wasn't easy on this pitch. Our 4 goals were all well finished by Dean. Semi finals are next. Well Done Lads. (Wayne)
