PROSPEROUS 4 V 0 CLANE
The Under 14s continued their 100% record this season with a 4-0 win over local rivals Clane. Many of the players new each other,so the bragging rights at school on Monday will all be Prosperous Uniteds. There was also the added rivalry that both teams had a past member in their squad- David Garry made his debut for Prosperous, while Esras Simeo is playing his 2nd season with Clane. Captain Eoghan O'Haire grabbed two goals in the first half and was unfortunate not to have a Hat-trick. Sean Scully had his goal ruled out for hand ball- In the second half Clane got more into the game and should have scored twice but for some fine Goal-keeping from Conor Malone and brilliant Defending from the reliable Lochie Lipson Ngai. Eoin Wallace got two great individual goals to cap a great overall performance Again for Prosperous.

Moone v Prosperous 6th August
Result 2 - 9
Another great win for the Under 14's. This time away to Moone Celtic, Captain Eoghan O'Haire started the Goal Feast when he slotted home after a clever 1-2 with cousin Sean Scully, after that Prosperous controlled the game with Scully, Cillian Gill, Thomas Callan and O'Haire all scoring before Moone got one back before the break.
The second half again was all Prosperous with Lochlin Lipson Ngai, Ierlaith Peelo, Scully [for his second] and then O'Haire completing his hat-trick before Moone got their second to leave it Moone 2 - 9 Prosperous United.
Special mention to Conor Malone who made an outstanding Double Save late in the second half.

Prosperous v Newbridge Town 30th August
Result 4 - 2
A great start to the season for the Under 14's with an excellent win over Newbridge Town. Goals from Sean Scully, Thomas Callan, Eoghan O'Haire and a left footed screamer from Eoin Wallace from 35 yards out saw United win 4-2. Watch this space. .
