U13 PREMIER TEAM 2104/2015 -
Manager Wayne Murran

Under 13 Premier Division 4/11/14
Prosperous United 6 v 2 Naas AFC Blue

The performance wasn't the best today in terms of playing good football, but spirit and effort took over and some good finishing got us over the line.
Naas had a good spell in the first 10 minutes of the second half but didn't take advantage of it and Prosperous reacted well and got back into the game and put it out of reach shortly after. Score line could have been closer but all credit to the lads, its a good sign not playing well and still scoring so many. A 6-2 win for Prosperous. Well done lads. (Wayne)

Clane 0 v 6 Prosperous 4th October 2014

Plenty of goals and another great performance of passing football from the Prosperous lads away from home today. From the first whistle the lads took control of the ball, switching play from left to right, creating numerous chances throughout the game. Every goal for Prosperous came from moves starting at the back with the defenders, the midfielders and scored by our 2 strikers. Fantastic hat tricks for Ryan and Gavin. Well done lads!

U13 SFAI Cup Arklow Town 1 vs 2 Prosperous United Premier

The game started today with the home team and support full sure they where going to win. First 5 mins Arklow had alot of the ball without causing any problems, when Prosperous settled there was going to be only one winner,  The Prosperous lads were outstanding in their shape and passing today which frustrated Arklow into foul after foul. The first goal came from a great move through the middle which saw Eoin Bagnell clear on goal and the keeper took him down with an awful challenge. The ref gave him the yellow card he deserved and a penalty to Prosperous. Eoin converted it in great fashion. The second half was no different with Prosperous trying to play good football and Arklow trying to stop them from doing so. Another goal from Prosperous came from a corner after a lot of pressure was put on Arklow by Prosperous. Eoin crossed the ball into the box where it fell to Ryan under pressure from Arklow defenders and with a lovely touch and finish he put the ball into the top corner. Arklow scored in extra time from a dubious free outside the box. It was a great result to Prosperous, Well done to all the lads. They are getting stronger in every game each week. Well done lads.
A big thanks to Arklow for putting on refreshments after the game and for the top class pitch and facilities.

ATHY VS PROSPEROUS UNITED 20TH SEPTEMBER

Prosperous U13 Premier away to Athy Town. It was a great performance from start to finish by the lads to give them their first win of the season. Prosperous dominated all the play in the first half with over 15 shots on goal but somehow went behind 5 minutes from half time getting caught with a long ball over the top of their defence. We started the second half the same way and within five minutes were level with a fantastic free kick from Dean. Prosperous tails were up now and our next 3 goals came from brilliant play, passing from back to front and ending with great finishes, 2 from Eoin,1 from Gavin. The lads should have scored more goals with all the chances created. Everyone was delighted with a final score of 4-1 Prosperous. Well done lads
